The song was written by Billy Idol and Steve Stevens, with its title being inspired by the 1943 American film Flesh and Fantasy.
Argentine Spanish rock singer-songwriter Miguel Mateos made a Spanish version, titled Sexo y frenesÃ, and included it on his album Salir Vivo in 2002.
